Update
What a great week! We started our rotations of social studies and science this week.  Ask your student about the symbols of our state and what inventions they made to help save their paper clips.  We have a few events coming up this week. Thank you for continuing to send healthy snacks with your students.  Let’s have a great week! 

Homework
Remember to encourage your student to read 20 minutes every night.  The goals is 100 minutes for the week.  

Laps for Lincoln
Laps for Lincoln information and collection envelopes went home on Friday. This is the only PTO Fundraising event for the year.  Students are encouraged to raise at least $30. There are new prizes this year, so be sure to read the informational letter that came home with your child! Collection dates are labeled on the envelope, with the first collection day being this Monday, September 23rd.  The last collection day is Friday, October 4th. Thank you for your support of Lincoln School! We hope all of our third grade families can come out and enjoy the Walk-A-Thon and the wonderful food trucks!

  3rd Grade News  Week 29 April 11th - April 15th Monday, April 11th - Library/Media Center **BRING LIBRARY BOOKS!** Tuesday, April 12th - Art Wednesday, April 13th - LATE START Thursday, April 14th - Gym Friday, April 15th - Music Important Dates Late Starts - April 20th, April 27th No School - May 2nd   Spring Weather As temperatures begin to warm up, please remind your child that they will need a coat for recess if the temperature has not reached 60 degrees.  If they are playing and get warm, they are asked to tie their coat around their waist.   Testing Season We are approaching the testing season after break. We will be taking two different tests, the MSTEP and the NWEA. Our testing will take place in the morning on the following dates. Please try to avoid scheduling any appointments during these times. Please check in with your child to see how many slices they have earned and continue to have them practice at home.  IXL F Skill builders are a great way to practice.
