Halloween Party THANK YOU!
Thank you Mrs. Kirshenbaum and all of the parents who helped out in planning, preparing, and
volunteering your time at our Halloween party this past week.  The party was a huge hit! I can't
tell you enough how much I appreciate the work that went into making this party run so smoothly.
The kids had a wonderful time!

Maker Day
Another big thank you to Berrien RESA, Mr. Joe Rommel, and many others who planned the student
'Maker Day' at Lincoln this past week. It was a fun morning of creativity and experimentation for the
students.  Please ask your child which station they enjoyed the most.   

Thanksgiving Luncheon
Plans are being made for our traditional Thanksgiving Luncheon on Thursday, November 14th. 
As many of you know, this is a very special day at Lincoln. The faculty and students eat together
in the gym "family style".  Our parents will serve the meal. Those who normally bring a cold lunch
are encouraged to purchase their lunch by bringing $2.50 to school on or before Wednesday,
November 13.  If you are interested in helping with this event, please watch for PTO sign up
information coming soon.

Week of April 11th, 2022

  3rd Grade News  Week 29 April 11th - April 15th Monday, April 11th - Library/Media Center **BRING LIBRARY BOOKS!** Tuesday, April 12th - Art Wednesday, April 13th - LATE START Thursday, April 14th - Gym Friday, April 15th - Music Important Dates Late Starts - April 20th, April 27th No School - May 2nd   Spring Weather As temperatures begin to warm up, please remind your child that they will need a coat for recess if the temperature has not reached 60 degrees.  If they are playing and get warm, they are asked to tie their coat around their waist.   Testing Season We are approaching the testing season after break. We will be taking two different tests, the MSTEP and the NWEA. Our testing will take place in the morning on the following dates. Please try to avoid scheduling any appointments during these times. With both of these tests, we need to take a math test and a reading test. Here are the dates that we are testing: MSTEP Reading - April 19th and 20th NWEA Reading   - April 26th

Please check in with your child to see how many slices they have earned and continue to have them practice at home.  IXL F Skill builders are a great way to practice.
