The faculty and students eat together in the gym "family style".  Our parents will serve the meal. Those who normally bring a cold lunch are encouraged to purchase their lunch by bringing $2.50 to school on or before Wednesday, November 13....

We hope your child feels more confident in the pool, and can also tell you what they learned about water safety. Reading Counts We will begin using the Scholastic Reading Counts program this week. After students finish reading a book, they will log in to the Reading Counts program and take a comprehension quiz on their book.   Students will need to get 7 out of 10 questions correct to pass the quiz.   They earn points for each quiz passed.   Some...

Monday, October 21st (E Day) Swimming 8:45, Music Tuesday, October 22nd (F Day) Swimming 8:45, Music Wednesday, October 23rd (A Day) LATE START, Swimming 9:45, Art Thursday, October 24th (B Day) Swimming 8:45, Gym Friday, October 25th (C Day) Swimming 8:45, Gym, Art 3rd Grade Swimming We will start swimming THIS WEEK!  We will be going to the high school in the morning at 8:45, so the students need to make sure they have their things ready to go each day.  They will need a swimsuit and towel in a plastic bag or gym bag. They can also bring goggles and a swim cap if they have them.   Other Notes Picture retakes are on this Friday Fire & Ice Ice Cream Party Our class will celebrate our amazing Laps for Lincoln accomplishment on Monday, October 28th. Fire & Ice will be in our classroom to make and serve ice cream in the afternoon.

They can also bring goggles.  Make sure to put their name or initials on them.   Fall Conferences I really enjoyed getting to meet with so many parents already this week.  I am looking forward to continuing conferences throughout October and into November.
